Rajasthan Royals Ajit Chandila, a little-known spinner who plays for Haryana in the domestic tournaments, became the first bowler in IPL-V to take a hattrick. Chandila dismissed Jesse Ryder, Ganguly and Robin Uthappa in a split hattrick to break Pune's back. He grabbed four wickets for just 13 runs as Rajasthan beat Pune by 45 runs to register their seventh win. They have 14 points from as many matches, with two games remaining, against Hyderabad and Mumbai.Chandila, who credited former India spinner Narendra Hirwani for his success, was playing in his second match of this season.
