Road accident claims ten life in Rajasthan

Ten people were killed while more than 30 people injured in two different road mishaps in Rajasthan today. Five people killed and two were injured when their van smashed into a stationary truck near Shahpura on Jaipur-Delhi national highway. Police authorities said that, ‘The van, bearing registration number of Haryana, was on its way to Jaipur when it collided with a stationary truck killing four of its occupants instantly’. Police added that, ‘Three more succumbed to injuries in hospital’. In another accident in Chittorgarh district, five people were killed and 26 wounded when a private bus carrying them plunged into a gorge near Bhaisrogarh town. The bus was on its way to Rawatbhata when the accident occurred, police officials said.
