Firing in Rajasthan, Vishvendra Singh escape unhurt

Former BJP MP and former Maharaja of Bharatpur Vishvendra Singh and his wife Divya escaped gun fire from an unidentified assailant at Laxmi Vilas Hotel on Thursday. Singh along with his wife Divya and 200 other supporters were protesting outside the hotel whose owner had written a book allegedly criticising the royals, police said. The supporters ransacked the hotel following which some one from inside the building fired at the former MP and his wife, they said. Two persons were injured in the incident, police said, adding the kind of wound suffered by them is not clear yet.
Senior police officers have reached the trouble spot and investigations are on. Meanwhile Jat Community and Leaders critisise the attach and demands immediate arrest of culprits. BJP MLA Hanuman Beniwal says it is attach of royal Jat family and we strongly demand arrest of people involved in attack.
